Our scientific team is currently expanding and are seeking candidates for the following positions: 

Research Associate

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will support our laboratory team in research and development operations for the company.  This individual will conduct and must have experience in mammalian cell culture, developmental neuroscience, and high content/high throughput compound screening.  The position requires the individual to carry out tasks of an advanced degree of complexity with minimal supervision.  Therefore, the selected candidate must be results-oriented, self motivated and have a demonstrated track record for meeting deadlines. Excellent oral and written communications skills are a must. 

EDUCATION: Minimum of Master’s degree in developmental neuroscience is preferred, however, equivalent work experience and a 4 year degree may be considered.

 

Laboratory Coordinator

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will support our manufacturing and R&D teams with daily management of the laboratories including but not limited to: record keeping, inventory tracking, materials acquisition and equipment maintenance, hazardous materials handling, shipping and receiving.  The candidate is expected to conduct research activities as assigned; therefore, candidates with experience in mammalian cell culture and developmental neuroscience are preferred.  This position requires the individual to carry out tasks of an advanced degree of complexity with minimal supervision.  The individual will be responsible for all daily equipment maintenance and documentation systems for the laboratory and will be required to draft highly technical documents for laboratory protocols.  Therefore, the selected candidate must be results-oriented, self motivated and have a demonstrated track record for meeting deadlines.    Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.  Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and hazardous materials regulation is a plus.

EDUCATION: A Bachelors degree in biological sciences is preferred.
