Drug Discovery & Development Services
Cellular models are required for target discovery, compound screening, functional assays, toxicology and safety studies. However, traditional cellular models can be poor predictors of functional clinical relevance. Although stem cells provide the potential for a more predictive source of cells for cell-based assays, they may not be ideal for high content/high throughput assays. ArunA has developed stem cell derived systems that overcome these obstacles.
ArunA’s cell lines form an adherent monolayer of uniform cells useful for imaging. These cells are also useful for determining drug response, as all ArunA cells are uniformly exposed to the same concentration of drug. They are highly proliferative and robust. Our specialized cells along with optimized media, reagents and components are the heart of our assays. In addition our stem cell system is:
